Yesterday there was a package on our doorstep and I kept forgetting about it, thinking it was a birthday present from Jim's parents that we've been waiting for. When I finally remembered to go get it, I was shocked to see that it was a completely unexpected package from a friend! Thrilled, I tore into it to see what was inside. It was a gift for our new baby and big brother, Brennan! Aside from a stuffed animal from Grandma and Grandpa, this is our baby's first present! And an incredibly sweet gift it is!
In addition to two sweet books for the baby, there was also a homemade book for Brennan featuring the letter B. He is going to love it! What an incredibly thoughtful, kind thing to do! Anyone with kids knows how important it is to make the big sibling feel important and loved, and this gift is just the ticket!
My favorite part of the package were these adorable shirts! How fun are these?? She used the kids' birth years as their team numbers on the backs! So fun! (I wonder if this is a sign that there is another boy on the way?!)

The most amazing part of this gift is that Crystal just gave birth to a baby girl on Monday morning, so she put this package in the mail just days before! Isn't that crazy?
